Christen is by far the best trainer! My dog Koji went thru all of the classes starting with puppy and all thru canine good citizen and urban. He would go nuts every time I drove into the center for the classes, he loved Christen and the classes were fun for Koji and enjoyable for me. We have since moved, but Koji is now a service dog and is working on his therapy certification, all thanks to his basic training with Christen. Koji still looks for Christen any time we go back to NPR to visit. Thanks Christen for your dedication and knowledgeable insights..

Christen is the best trainer I have used. My Golden Doodle, Teddy, is now 60lbs and she was a handful as she was growing. Christen was able to give me tips over the phone before she arrived the next day for Teddy's first private lesson. Teddy has become a fun, obedient 14 month old dog and has a very sweet temperament. I give Christen complete credit for any training Teddy has learned. Christen also cares for our 3 cats and 2 dogs when we go out of town. Last time we were gone for a week and the cats and dogs looked healthy and happy when we returned. The house looked fine and I trust Christen alone in my house which is a big deal for me. I don't tend to let people in my house when I am out. I would recommend Smarty Paws to anyone looking for these services.

She is absolutely amazing and very good at working with all kinds of dogs. Both of my dogs trained with her. My youngest went all the way through to become a therapy dog. The oldest has some behaviors that we are still working with, graduated with his adult 1. She also has helped train him on his CGC where we are able to pass all except 1 due to his behavior. With her guidance he has been getting better and better every day. When I get more dogs she will be the first one I call! I recommend her to everyone I know that has a dog and is looking for a trainer. Price wise is affordable and flexible too.

Christen is absolutely amazing. KB, my spoiled Maltese " king", has been with Christen ever since he was 8 weeks old. He's earned his "star puppy" award and is working on earning his "canine good citizen" award. Our ultimate goal is for him to become a therapy dog. KB adores Christen and is pet sitted by her when we travel. I wouldn't have anyone else teach, train or pet sit KB. Christen is absolutely the very best. She loves what she does and it's obvious to see.

Christen is excellent! She has worked with my dog Amber and has taken her from a frightened dog who would not walk through the door of a store to a Certified Therapy dog . Amber looks for Christen every time we go to the store. She loves her that so much she will sit on Christen's feet to make sure she won't get away from her.

Just posted her picture on her a few minutes ago. Although I had to edit the post cuz auto correct "corrected" student to stupid ....geez lol!!! Love my Amber girl !!! I will have some CGC classes here soon for her to help with.

Christen is AMAZING! Trainings were very loving and fun. My dogs looked forward to our train days. To this day when we drive in the car they get excited thinking we are turning in for training.
